The defense for the 49ers is starting to really show up. Teams try to go for it on 4th down, and the 49ers defense has been able to come up big.
The running game for the 49ers has shown to be effective. They have multiple backs that can break out at any time. Establishing a solid running game can really wear down a defense and break their will. The niners have been doing this during the season.
The passing game for the 49ers has also been up to par. Jimmy G still seems to be having issues placing the ball from time to time, but he seems to be getting back on track.
The only big issue with the 49ers might be some strange play calling in certain situations. They seem to take chances when they don't need to do it. Inside the 10 yard line, they are making some play calls that might raise some eyebrows. Instead of running the ball, they do pass plays. Instead of running straight ahead, they try to get cute with runs that go side to side. Every play is not going to work, but sometimes, it might help to just keep it simple.
The niners are continuing to rack up wins. Sometimes, they win pretty and other times they win ugly. The main point is they are on a winning streak. Right now, you have to wonder who will knock them off. The Washington redskins stayed close pretty much the whole game.
